Athina

After another bad nights sleep we head down for breakfast.  Greg is feeling really ill so we don't have much.  We go next door for a great coffee and freshly baked complimentary walnut cake.  Now that is good.

We enjoy our morning sitting in the square, then pack our bags and head over to the bus terminal. We are catching the 12.30pm bus to Ahtnes.

We depart on time and head north east along a secondary road for about an hour.  Then make it back onto the freeway and head towards Messalonghi they way we first came.  The bus trip takes 5 1/2 hours.  The bus actually has wifi which is great as we can listen to the F1 practice and qually as we go along.  Shame our batteries are so low.

We are back at the Art Hotel by 6pm then get ready to hit the Plaka for our last night.  It's a beautiful evening with a slight cool breeze so very enjoyable temperature.

We wander around and find a lovely 

Cafe for dinner and people watching called Cenrale.  We have a few refreshments and dinner of pizza, salad and moussaka.  It's all delicious even the complimentary dessert.

We continue to stroll around the Plaka which is teeming with locals and tourists. So many bars and Tavernas to choose from.  We can hear some great music and come across a music festival in one of the back streets.  There are DJs playing and last night there was live music.  We stay and listen for a while and enjoy the vibe.

Although it's late we can't seem to leave this place and head home around midnight.  We have a wake up call ordered for 5.30am and taxi coming to pick us up at 6am.  Everything is packed up and ready to go.  I think we will sleep well tonight even if it's only for five hours.
