Change of plan

After a slow start to the day and a recheck of the weather and options for a safe anchorage or marina at our destination we decide to stay one more day in Kusadasi.  

We bid farewell to our American neighbours Jean and John and hope to bump into them on our journey down south.

We are planning on spending about 20 days in Turkey heading south to Fethiye.  The first leg of this journey is the longest and we are really looking forward to anchoring in some beautiful bays along the way.  Each hop about 2 to 4 hours depending on the wind.

We now have time to visit Guy and Serene's apartment which is located just behind the marina.  We arrange for the Real Estate guys to pick us up and take us there.  Sardan and Aytac are really friendly and genuine.  The apartment is great and has a great view over the harbour and Kusadasi city.

We have lunch on the yacht and then head back into town and take a few more pictures of the harbour and surrounding area.

After some shopping and refreshments our last stop is for dinner and we have the longest pizza ever!
